Generous, vibrant and pure, our 2014 Grenache comes from Garnier Vineyard just outside of Mosier, Oregon on the banks of the mighty Columbia River in the Columbia Gorge. Wrought by the work of this regions dramatic geologic history, the soil here is a shallow sandy loam with basalt protrusions and produces lively, energetic wines with distinction and personality.

Finish Chemistry: 14.5% alc, 6.1g/L TA, 3.45 pH

TASTING NOTES:
Our 2014 Grenache opens with aromas of bright Bing cherry, pomegranate, white pepper and aromatic Darjeeling tea. Also present, notes of wet stone, paraffin, tamarind and plum. The palate is expansive, succulent and precise with a density and texture balanced in mouthwatering juiciness. Flavors move from soaked cherries, rock dust, white nutmeats, to hints of licorice and Pfefferneusse. The finish is clean, long, taught and poised.
